Calum Hill sharing third place in California

Calum Hill from Kinross, a final-year student at Western New Mexico University, is sharing third place in a field of 95 players with one round to go in the CBU Invitational at Eagle Glen Golf Club, Corona in California.

Over a par-72 course of 6,898yd, Hill, pictured, has had rounds of 69 and 73 for two-under-par 142 - two shots behind the leader, Tai Kulda (California Baptist) with rounds of 67 and 73.
The remainder of the Western New Mexico team had mixed luck.
Harry Wetton, a third-year student from Bedford, shot 76-72 for 148 and a place in the top 20 at T17.
Tom Neve, a senior from Epsom had scores of 72 and 80 for 152 and a T34 placing.
Ross White, a second-year man from Dollar, is T48 onf 155 (75-80).
Danny Young, a senior from Cheshire, shot 73-83 for 156 and a T51 standing.
Ben Skinner, a former Loretto School, Musselburgh pupil from Hertfordshire and a final-year man at Western New Mexco) is lying 89th in a field of 95. He has scored 87 and 85 for 172.
