Callum McGuigan from Crieff loses lead to

team-mate at Crooked Creek, Kentucky

By COLIN FARQUHARSON
Former Crieff High School, Perthshire pupil Callum McGuigan, now a second-year student at the University of the Cumberlands, Kentucky, lost his two-stroke lead over the second round of the SEKI annual men's college tournament at Crooked Creek Golf Club, London in Kentucky.
McGuigan had a second-round 73 for a 36-hole tally of 141 and is now two behind team-mate Florian Loutre from Le Mans, France.
Loutre has scored 70-69 for 139.
The third placed player is four shots behind McGuigan so it looks a two-horse race for first place over Tuesday's final round.
Fort-William's Alasdair Ross, a student at Union College, Kentucky, is lying 38th in a field of 50 with ronds of 82 and 83 for 165.
Cameron Branham (University of the Cumberlands), a final year student from Glasgow, had a nightmare round of 103 in the firist round but posted a more respectable score of 87 for two-round tally of 190.
