Heather Munro (Tied 8th) helps Elon 
University finish third at Mimosa Hills

MORGANTON, North CarolinaThe Elon University women's golf team completed its second and final round at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate  at the Mimosa Hills Golf and Country Club, finishing in third place with a two-round total of 612 (+36).
Host Appalachian State won the team title by one stroke, besting second-place Jacksonville State with an event total of 607 (+31). Longwood's Courtney Tolton won the individual title at 147 (+3)
.

HIGHLIGHTS
Elon had two players finish in the top 10 individually, as Kelsey Badmaev and Heather Munro from Monifieth both finished tied for eighth at 150 (+6). 

Badmaev carded her second straight round of 75, while Munro shot an even-par 72 in the final round, the best round of any Elon player in the event.
Anglo-Scot Paige Kemp (78-79) and Eilidh Watson (81-76) from Dollar tied for 28th place on 157 in a field of 83 players.

NOTES
– Elon's third-place finish marks the team's seventh finish of third or better in nine events this season.

UP NEXT
Elon will compete at the Colonial Athletic Association Women's Golf Championships in Southport, N.C., from April 15-17.

Rachel Walker down the field at Wallace, North Carolina
Ariana Coyle Diaz (Penn State), from Dublin, finished T45 in a field of 75 players at the River Landing Classic women's college tournament at Wallace, North Carolina. She had scores of 78, 83 and 78 for a total of 239 over a ar-72 course of 6,082yd.
Diaz finished 22 shots behind the winner, Alessandria Liu (William and Mary) (73-73-71 for one-over 217).
Rachel Walker (Old Dominion) from Dumfries finished T49 on 241 (84-78-79).
East Carolina (898) won the team event from Penn State (902), Harvard (905), Old Dominion (914), Penn (922), William and Mary (925) in a field of 13 teams.
