Emily Price made it three big wins in a row over the past two weeks when she beat 13-year-old Annabel Fuller in an all-England play-off for the inaugural Scottish Under-18 girls' open amateur stroke-play championship after they had tied at the end of the regulation 54 holes at Strathmore Golf Centre, Alyth.
Last week, within the space of four days, 16-year-old Price, whose home club, the  quaintly-named Cleobury Mortimer is in Shropshire, won two prestigious open tournaments in England - The Whittington Trophy and the Leveret Trophy.
An eagle 3 at the 14th and a birdie at the 18th in a closing round of three-under-par 69 after a pair of par 72s for a total of three-under 213 put Price into a play-off with Roehampton's young Fuller who had scores of 71, 70 and 72 after a bogey-free final inward half that included birdies at the 11th, 14th, 16th and 18th.

It took only one play-off hole to determine the overall winner, with Price birdieing the 16th for the championship

There was consolation for Fuller who was presented with the Menzies Trophy as the leading player under the age of 16.

Hazel MacGarvie from Troon Ladies was the leading Scot in seventh place, ending her week on level par 216 with scores of 71, 73 and 72. Birdies at the 11th and 14th helped to keep her in the top 10.
Aboyne’s Shannon McWilliam just missed out on a top 10 finish with rounds of 74, 73 and 71 for two-over 218 and a share of 11th place.
Home course hope Kirsty Brodie finished joint 18th on 222 with 75-73-74.
