Alice Hewson drops to T18 in All State Sugar 

Bowl at New Orleans

Alice Hewson dropped to T18 in a field of 90 while Bronte Law moved up slightly to T48 after the second round of the All State Sugar Bowl college tournament at English Turn Golf and Country Club, New Orleans today.
Hewson, from Berkhamsted, a second-year student at Clemson University, followed her two-under-par 70 over a 6,239yd  course with a 74 for level par 144 - six behind leader Lauren Kim (Stanford) (68-70 for 138, a stroke ahead of Emma Talley (Alabama) (70-69) and two in front of third placed Maria Torres (Floida) (69-71).
Alison Knowles from South Yorkshire and a student at Michigan State, improved from 77 to 70 and jumped up to T33 on 147.
Bronte Law (UCLA) and Jessica Carty (Denver) are tied 48th on 150. English champion Bronte from Bramhall, Cheshire, improved from an opening 78 to a 72, while Belfast's Jessica had a repeat 75.
There is a field of 90 players. 
Florida (569) lead the 19 teams in that title race with Oklahoma State (576) in second place and Arizona (577) third.
Clemson are T7 on 589 while UCLA are 12th on 591.
