Catriona Matthew slips to T6 in Aussie Open 

but she is only two behind joint leaders

 Catriona Matthew slipped down to a share of sixth place in the Handa Australian Women's Open at Grange Golf Club, Adelaide with a 73 for seven-under 209.

But the 46-year-old former champion, in 1996, from North Berwick, pictured, is by no means out of it as far as winning this title twice is concerned.
Catriona is only two shots behind the three players sharing first place on 207 after 54 holes - Danielly Kang (US) 67, Jenny Shin (South Korea) 70 and Japan's Haru Nomura 70.
Karrie Webb (Australia) and defending champion Lydia Ko (NZ) 69 are joint fourth on 208.
Kylie Walker is hanging on in there. The flame-haired Glasgow girl had a 71 to be T13 on 211. 
Matthew, who had earlier rounds of 67 and 69 to share the halfway lead with England's Holly Clyburn (she plummeted to a 78 and T30 on 214), bogeyed the second but birdied the third and seventh to be out in one-under 35.
The Scot then had her poorest run of the championship after the turn with no birdies and three bogeys - 11th, 13th and 15th, to come home in three-over 38.
Kylie Walker, whose earlier scores were a pair of 70s, birdied four par-5s - the first, third, 10th and 13th in halves of 34 and 36. She also birdied the 16th but she bogeyed the second, 15th, 17th and 18th, the last three bogeys knocking her out of the leading 10.
Falkirk-based American Beth Allen is on T19 with a tally of 212 after rounds of 69, 71 and 71.
