By COLIN FARQUHARSON
Sophie Bargeron, from London, a second-year student at Armstrong State University, helped the Pirates score their first team win since March 2014 when they finished three strokes clear of runners-up Florida Southern in the Tusculum Invitational college tournament over 36 holes at Kiawah Island earlier this month.
Sophie shot two rounds of 82 for 164 over a par-72 course of 5,825yd.

Bargeron (pictured) finished T29 in a field of 84 players.
Jessica Smith (West Alabama) was the individual winner with rounds of 74 and 78 for eight-over 152 - a shot ahead of runner-up Pamela Mosley (Armstrong State) (73-80).
Sophie and the rest of Armstrong State University women's team were back in action at the Florida Southern Lady Moc Classic this week at Grasslands Golf and Country Club, Lakeland, Florida.
Sophie had the second best Armstrong State individual score over the first 36 hole - a pair of 76s for 152 and joint 16th position in a field of 94 players.
Jenny Ayala (Lynn University) leads with a pair of par 72s for 144, a shot ahead of Nicole Ferre (Barry) 72-73.
