Connie Jaffrey in the Arizona mix with a 

round to go at Westbrook Village

Connie Jaffrey, a second-year student at Kansas State University and the 2013 Scottish girls U18 champion, is lying joint second with one round to go in the Westbrook Invitational college 54-hole tournament at Westbrook Village Golf Club, Peoria in Arizona.

Connie, pictured, from Kilwinning, Ayrshire, has had rounds of 71 and 69 for four-under-par 140 over a 6,299yd course.
She is one shot behind the pacemaker, Oregon's Caroline Inglis, who has scored 70-69.
One of Jaffrey's Kansas State team-mates, Katherine Gravel-Coursol is sharing second place with 72 and 68, and there is a third player tied for second place, Kayler Benton (UNLV) 70-70.
Elizabeth Prior (University of Nevada-Las Vegas freshman) from Surrey is T58 on 149,  a shot ahead of another freshman, Chloe Weir (Kansas State) from Belfast. Chloe, pictured left, has had a pair of 75s.

There is a field of 86 players and Oregon lead the team title chase ahead of Kansas State  and UNLV with Ohio State lying fourth in a field of 15 teams.
