WORLD UNIVERSITY CHAMPIONSHIPS END ON A LOW NOTE FOR SCOT

HANNAH FORCED TO MISS FINAL 

ROUND IN SWITZERLAND

Stirling student Hannah McCook (Grantown on Spey), representing Great Britain, did not play in the fourth and final round of the world universities golf championships at Crans-sur-Sierre, Switzerland today.

Handicapped by a recurrence of wrist problems, Hannah, pictured, withdrew after scores of 77, 82 and 83.

The Great Britain team finished 11th of 17 in the men's event and and 14th of 17 in the women's competition. Spain won both team titles.
