Maria Dunne won six out of six matches for Leinster to needed to take only three of the six final singles to win the trophy back from Ulster.
Leinster newcomer Ariana Coyle Diez halved a great match against Ulster's Charlene Reid.
Paula Grant won by one hole against Karen Delaney but Leinster captain Denise McCarthy pitched her team perfectly, saving Mary Dowling and Deirdre Smith to the end of the order and they duly obliged.
Dowling birdied the 15th and 16th to go dormie two up and won the match on the 17th.
Smith sank a birdie putt on the 16th which secured her at least a half and the trophy back in Leinster hands. Earlier in the afternoon Ulster's Leona Maguire put on a birdie fest at Little Island against Leinsters’ Aedin Murphy who incidentally won the first with an eagle to Leona’s birdie, Leona went on to birdie the 2nd, chipped in for birdie on the 5th, hit to 30ft from the 8th fairway bunker and holed the putt, put her approach to 8ft on the 10th for birdie, and had similar on the 12th and 13th to close out the match at seven under par
after 13 holes.
Munster saved their best to last and secured third place with all players recording emphatic victories against Connacht.
