Megan Briggs stays in the groove at Cowglen

CAROL FELL REPORTS
Megan Briggs (Kilmacolm) maintained her good form after winning the West of Scotland Championship over Cardross on Sunday with and excellent, one under par 70 over Cowglen today (two under the CSS) to win the best scratch award at the Renfrewshire county spring meeting today.
Lesley Cosh, playing over her home course, had the best net score of the day by virtue of the better inward half from Megan.
Jennifer Mack (Haggs Castle) was third by the better inward half from Alyson McKechin (Elderslie) who also had a net 72.
In the 13-28 handicap section Anita McMillan from Erskine was the winner by one shot from past captain Christeen Finlayson (Whitecraigs), followed by Anne Aitken from Eastwood.
