CHAMPION KAREN GAINS SCOTLAND CAP

New Scottish senior women's golf champion Karen Ballantyne (Craigmillar Park) has gained an immediate reward for her surprise success at Ballater earlier this week.
Mrs Ballantyne has been selected to play for Scotland's team of six in the inaugural women's senior home international matches against England, Ireland and Wales.
Whittington Heath is the venue from October 1 to 3.
