SCOTTISH SENIOR LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP

Pamela Williamson (Baberton) will be defending the Scottish senior ladies amateur close championship over 36 holes at Ballater Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday. She won the title for a second time at Crail 12 months ago. Her previous victory was at East Renfrewshire Golf Club in 1999.
There have been 99 entries for this year's championship, which is a very healthy figure indeed.
Will Pamela win the title for a third time? Or will the new champion be SLGA treasurer Lynne Terry (Cruden Bay), who won the Northern Division Vets title, beating the current Scottish Vets champion, Rose Anderson (Huntly) in the final, over the same Ballater course earlier.
