SCOTS PAIR MISS FUTURES TOUR CUT

Heather Stirling from Bridge of Allan and Linzi Morton from Tulliallan both failed to survive the 36-hole cut in the latest United States Futures Tour event at Erie Village, Syracuse in New York State.
Linzi had scores of 73 and 80 for 153 while Heather totalled one more with 74 and 80.
The event was won by Soo Young Moon (Korea) with rounds of 70, 68 and 69 for six-under-par 207. She earned dollars 8,400.
Lisa Hall from Stoke finished joint seventh on 211 and collected a cheque for dollars 1,725.
