Mairead Martin loses in Cartier Trophy
quarter-finals, opponent goes on to final

GB and I Junior Vagliano Team player at Malone GC, Belfast last summer, Mairead Martin lost today in the quarter-finals of the French U20s match-play tournament for the Cartier Trophy at Paris St Cloud.
Mairead went down by 4 and 3 to Paul Neira Garcia.
The Spanish player went on to reach tomorrow's 36 hole final by beating Celine Borge (Norway) 4 and 3.
Also through to the final is Sweden's Maja Stark who beat Anastasia Mickan (Germany) by one hole. Stark beat the leading qualifier for the Under-20s match-play earlier in the day.
