Gemma Dryburgh in top 10 after first round in Sweden, Michele Thomson tied 12th

Aberdeen-born former Curtis Cup player Gemma Dryburgh, playing in only her second tournament since she turned professional, is tied for eighth place on level par 72 at the end of the first round of the LETAS event, the Boras Ladies Open at Boras Golf Club, Sweden.
Dryburgh is four strokes behind the leader by two, German amateur Olivia Cowan, daughter of a Liverpool-born club professional in Germany.
Michele Thomson (Meldrum House) had a 73 to be joint 12th while Glasgow's Gemma Webster is sharing 33rd place with a 76 in a field of 112 players.
