RENFREWSHIRE FIGHT BACK TO DRAW

WITH LANARKSHIRE ON DAY 2

The West Division women's inter-county team championship - and a place in the Scottish finals - is up for grabs on the final day at Haggs Castle.
Renfrewshire and Lanarkshire drew 4 1/2-4 1/2 on Day 2 and both have 3pt to their credit.
Renfrewshire lost the foursomes 2-1 but levelled the overall scoreline by taking the singles 3 1/2 to 2 1/2
The vital half point for Renfrewshire was obtained by Liz Stewart who was down all the way against Lesley Lloyd but finished well to salvage a halved match.
Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Ayrshire also drew their match and have 1pt apiece.  D and A had a one-point lead after the foursomes but Ayrshire made up the leeway with success in the singles.
