On a day that started with cloudy skies and rain threats, the rain showers began at about the tenth hole of play. With no lightning but intermittent heavy downpours, wire-to-wire leader Emmy Martin of Tampa, Florida played solid golf after a 3-over front nine to recover to a 1-under on the back nine, with birdies on 13 and 16 and a bogey on the final hole, for a total of 74.

Her total of 2-under 286 was the only sub-par aggregate and bested 14-year-oldAnnabell Fuller from Roehampton, London by five shots, who shot her second straight 73 for a total of 291.

Annabell's fourth-round score was the third best on the day, only one behind a pair of 72s.

Charley Hull won the "Harder Hall" in 2012.

Tara Joy-Connelly slipped to a 77 to finish third, one shot behind Fuller.

There were three English players in the final top 20 - Annabell Fuller in second place, British stroke play champion Sophie Lamb (Clitheroe) (T10 on 302 after a closing 76) and Georgia Price (Bude and North Cornwall) who tied for 15th place with a final round of 78 for 304.

Louisa Brunt (Royal Birkdale) and Olivia Winning (Rotherham) tied for 46th place on 320, Louisa with a closing 79 and Olivia signing off with an 80.

Gemma Clews, who had been doing well, want back to officials after she discovered she had signed for a wrong score in the third round and was disqualified.

In the Forever Forty-Nine Division, Laura Carson of Vero Beach, Florida carded a solid 79 for a total of 321, eight shots better than  four-time Forever Forty-Nine Champion, Diane Lang of Weston, Florida who finished with 85 in today’s round.
