Sophie Madden (T21) helps Nova SE win

Sophie Madden (Nova Southeastern), a freshman from Essex, finished T21 in a field of 93 and helped her college win th tteam title at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational at Tuscawilla Country Club, Winter Springs, Florida.

Sophie, pictured, had rounds of 78, 74 and 75 for a total of 227 over a par-72 course of 6,089yd.
She finished eight shots behind the winner, Tilda Larsson (Barry) who had rounds of 71, 75 and 73 for a three-over 219 total in winning by one shot from Hally Leadbetter (Rollins College), daughter of renown US-based coach David Leadbetter. Aida Foigel (Nova SE) and Jamie Freedman (Nova SE).
Hally scored 74, 73 and 73 for 220.
Hannah Robb (Embry Riddle), a member of Scotscraig Golf Club, Tayport in Fife, finished 80th in a field of 93. She scored 81, 82 and 84 for 247.
Nova Southeastern (885) won the team title ahead of Montevallo and Florida Tech (both 899), West Florida (900) and Barry (902).
Rollins College (910) finished seventh and Embry Riddle (952) 15th of the 17 competing teams.

Charlotte Hindmoore down the field in Georgia
Charlotte Hindmoor from Darlington, coming up to the end of her four years at Old Dominion University, finished 60th in a field of 70 at the Henssler Financial Intercollegiate at Pinetree Country Club, Georgia.

Charlotte, pictured, had rounds of 80, 80 and 84 for 244 - 23 behind the trio who tied for first place - Fatima Cano (Troy) 73-75-73, Lauren Mason (Texas Tech) 72-73-76 and Josefine Nyqvist (Augusta) 74-72- 75, all on 221.
Another Old Dominion student, Rachel Walker, a third-year student from Dumfries shot 77, 87 and 83 for 247.
Texas Tech (890 won the team title ahead of Augusta (900) with Illinois (90) third and Middle Tennessee (908).
