Sheena Wood's tied 22nd finish in Spain; 

Sheena McElroy wins Super Senior title

Sheena Wood (Aberdeen Ladies), the only Scot to survive the second-round cut, finished tied 22nd in the Spanish senior women's amateur golf championship at Royal Pineda Golf Club, Seville today

She had scores of 80, 77 and 82 for a total of 239.

Belgium's Sylvie Van Molle won the title by four strokes with scores of 72, 78 and 73 for 223.

Ireland's Sheena McElroy, pictured left, who finished tied fifth overall, won the "Super Senior" title with scores of 76, 76 and 78 for 230. Sheena has been three times Irish senior champion and is a Ladies Golf Union Board member with responsibility for team selection.
