Another top 10 USA finish by Meghan

LECANTO, Florida – Fourth year Florida International University student  Meghan MacLaren from Wellingborough, Cambridge led the Panthers with a one-over-par 145 par to place eighthindividually , as the FIU women's golf team finished fourth in the Florida Challenge  on Monday.
The one-day, two-round event took place at Black Diamond Ranch on the Quarry Course (par-72, 6,114 yards). The Panthers shot a 606 (30-over-par) to finish fourth overall behind No. 12 Florida (571), Florida State (583) and UCF (600).
MacLaren, a six-time winner on the US women's college golf circuit,  recorded her third top-10 finish of the 2015-2016 season followed by junior Coralia Arias (T-13th at six-over, 150), senior Carla Jane (T-20th at 10-over, 154), junior Camila Serrano (T-27th at 13-over, 157) and sophomore Katerina Krasova (T-39th at 21-over, 165). 

Senior Sophie Godley from Notts finished tied for 27th (13-over, 157) playing as an individual.

FIU will next head to Coral Gables for the Miami Invitational Feb. 29 through March 2.
