SUSAN JACKSON WINS FIFE TITLE FOR FIRST TIME

The match-play stages of the Fife County Ladies Golf Championship were played over the Kittocks Course, Fairmont St Andrews on Saturday and Sunday. 
Susan Jackson, Karin Sharp, Nicky Taylor and Elaine Moffat all made it through to the semi-finals, Elaine having had a close quarter final match with Lorna Bennett.
In the first semi final Susan Jackson’s putter was red hot as she beat Karin Sharp 7 and 6. 
In the second semi final 18 year old Nicky Taylor put up a strong performance, eventually losing to the former Fife and Scottish champion Elaine Moffat at the 19th . 
The final saw golf of the highest quality with seven birdies being recorded. However, in the end Susan Jackson had the edge over Elaine Moffat. winning 2 and 1 to be Fife champion for the first time.

SEMI-FINALS
Susan Jackson (Ladybank) bt Karin Sharp (Kirkcaldy) 7 and 6.
Elaine Moffat (St Regulus) bt Nicky Taylor (Dunnikier Park) at 19th.

FINAL
Jackson bt Moffat 2 and 1.
