JESSICA MEEK BEATS AILSA SUMMERS IN ANGUS JUNIOR FINAL

Jessica Meek (Carnoustie Ladies) won the Angus junior county championship at a very windy Forfar with a 6 and 5 win over Ailsa Summers (Carnoustie Ladies) in the final.

One under par and three up at the turn, Jess completed the next four holes in one under par to take the title.

Both girls played excellent golf tee to green in a difficult wind, but Jessica excelled on the greens whilst Ailsa struggled and that's where the difference lay.

Big congrats to Jess on her first victory. Thoroughly well deserved!
