Latest entry for the Hacienda del Alamo Women's Winter Golf Festival has come all the way from the United States of America.
Natasha Morgan, pictured right, born at Abergavenny, South Wales in 1986, is coming up to the end of a four-year degree course in Hospitality Management at Lynn University, Boca Raton in Florida.
"My eligibility for golf (on the American college circuit) finished last May, but I am finishing my classes and will graduate in December," says Natasha in an E-mail.
Miss Morgan played quite a few times on the Duramed Futures Tour earlier this year with a best finish of 43rd but she failed to come through the recent Futures Tour qualifying tournament for next year on the No 2 women's pro circuit in the States.
Natasha, who was a member of the Wales national team, recorded 11 top-10 finishes in US collegiate competition, including three wins, while a member of the Lynn University team. She was named the Lynn University Most Valuable Player in 2004 and again in 2006.
In 2004, she was the Sunshine State Confererence Freshman of the Year and competed individually at the NCAA Division 2 championship that year.
She was a medallist at the 2005 Bermuda amateur match-play championship and in 2006 was named in the NGCA Division 2 All-Region and All-American teams.
"I am so excited about playing in the Hacienda del Alamo Women's Festival in Spain. I have been trying to spread the word on this side of the Atlantic," said Natasha.
Other entries received in the past few days include one from Orla Barry, a five-handicapper from Ireland.
REMEMBER, ALL ENTRIES, including name, stating if professional or amateur (handicap should be given), home club, and date of birth if under 20 years, SHOULD BE E-MAILED TO TOURNAMENT CONTROLLER COLIN FARQUHARSON AT
