SCOTLAND GIRLS RETAIN HOME
INTERNATIONALS' TITLE

Congratulations to the Scotland girls on a job well done at Southerndown Golf Club, South Wales over the last three days. They duly clinched the girls' home internationals title and the Stroyan Cup for the second year in a row - and just as impressively as they did in Northern Ireland 12 months ago.
As expected they beat the pointless Wales comfortably, 8 1/2-1/2 to finish the three-day programme with three wins out of three.
Ireland upset England 5-4 in the other match to finish runners-up.
