MORE NEWS FROM IRELAND

SINEAD HERATY APPOINTED CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF IRISH L G U

Sinead Heraty has been appointed chief executive of the Irish Ladies Golf Union.

Ita Butler, President of the ILGU, commented:

"Sinead brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the new role of
Chief Executive and we are delighted that she has accepted the position.
"Membership of the Irish Ladies' Golf Union has almost doubled in the
last ten years and we are confident that Sinead's management and
motivational skills will be of particular benefit to us at this exciting
time in our organisation's development.
"Overseeing the implementation of our Strategic Plan will be one of the key
responsibilities of our Chief Executive whilst at the same time maintaining and improving the core business of the ILGU.
"Sinead will be taking up her appointment in June and we, in the Irish Ladies' Golf Union, look forward to working closely with her in providing a good service to our growing membership."
