SPANISH JUNIOR WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

ALL-SPANISH SEMI-FINALS IN MADRID

The last two non-Spanish players in the Spanish junior women's international championship at Madrid were eliminated in the first round of the match-play stages on Friday.
Laura Thiel (Germany) and Maria Verchenova (Russia) lost to B Mozo and C Ciganda respectively.
The semi-finalists are Elisa Serramia, the British women's open amateur champion, Maria Hernandez, I Baon and Adriana Zwanck.
