Pamela Feggans finishes second in
NCAA Division 2 championship

Ayrshire player Pamela Feggans could not manage to hold on to a share of the overnight lead in the final round of the NCAA Division 2 women’s college championship at Howey in the Hills, Florida on Saturday.
Pamela, a student Florida Southern and a member of Doon Valley, signed off with a 76 for a 72-hole final total of 11-over-par 303.
Miss Feggans had jumped into a share of the 54-hole lead with a 71, the best third-round score by anyone in the field.
Charlotte Campbell (Rollins) became the second player in the tournament to return a two-under-par 71 and her final effort lifted her clear of the field with a total of seven-over 299, four ahead of Pamela who deserves credit for such a high finish in the Division 2 championship after starting the tournament with an 80.
Rollins College won the team title, 39 shots clear of second-placed Florida Southern with Northern Colorado a further 36 shots back in third place.
