LEONA MAGUIRE RECOVERS FROM SECOND DOUBLE BOGEY OF SEASON





Leona Maguire (Duke University) had only her second double bogey of the American college golf season on her way to a par round of 72 which placed her T20 at the end of the first round of the Landfall Tradition women's college tournament over 6,166yd course at Country Club of Landfall, Wilmington in the state of North Carolina.
Leona had her double bogey at the second and covered her final 18 holes in two under par with birdies at the third, seventh and ninth.

India Clyburn (North Carolina State) and Alice Hewson (Clemson) are T35 and T47 respectively in a field of 96 players after rounds of 74 and 75.
Maguire's team-mate Ana Belac had a career-best 66, a tournament record, with only 25 putts, to lead by one shot from Lauren Stephenson (Alabama).
Duke (277) lead the team event by one shot from Alabama with Michigan State (282) third. Clemson and North Carolina State, both 299, are T14 in a field of 18 teams.
