SHANNON AND HANNAH LEADING SCOTS IN ENGLISH STROKE-PLAY

Aboyne's Shannon McWilliam (Pictured) was the leading Scot, in a share of 21st place with a two-over-par 75, at the end of the first round of the English women's open amateur stroke-play championship at Woodhall Spa's Hotchkin course, Lincolnshire.
Hannah McCook (Grantown on Spey) was the next best Scot with a 76 for T28 position.
England's Annabell Fuller (Roehampton) and Ireland's Jessie Ross (Clandeboye) set the pace with four-under-par 69s.
