I need your help supporting this event for Girls Golf

We have launched our fundraising bid to support Project 19 and our foundation which we hope will support young female golfers on their journey to reach their potential. Anything you might be able to do in sharing with friends, taking a team, providing a prize or just giving a little would be greatly received.

Together with VisitScotland, Scottish Government and Scottish Golf the Sandy Muir Foundation will support six girls travelling to The 2017 Solheim Cup for a once in a lifetime inspirational experience. The girls invited to Des Moines, Iowa, USA have had a great deal of success over their short golfing careers and are on a trajectory to maximise their potential. The Foundation will not only seek to contribute to the subsistence costs whilst the girls are in Des Moines, USA but will seek to raise sufficient funds to support these girls and others with similar drive and determination, in the next 2 years as they target a place in Team Europe in the PING Junior Solheim Cup being held at Gleneagles Hotel in 2019.

The girls in this inaugural year will be ambassadors and role models who will inspire others to continue to pursue their dreams and be the best they can be. Going forward the Foundation will continue to work alongside national agencies to compliment a programme of support for up and coming young female golfers.

Crail Golfing Society have generously agreeing to host the Project 19 Golf Day in its inaugural year.

Teams will be warmly welcomed in the Clubhouse for breakfast rolls before the shotgun start at 10.30am.

After playing the Craighead course, players will return to enjoy a 2 course meal, prize presentation and auction.

To support this enterprising project, by entering a Team or by making a donation.

The cost of a team of four players is £200.

We look forward to welcoming you to be a part of something special.

Ian Muir
