Lily May leads by four at Sir Henry Cooper


Junior Masters



Lily May Humphreys (Stoke by Nayland), pictured, had a lead of four strokes at the end of the first round of the girls' section of the Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters at Nizels Golf Club, Tonbridge in Kent.
And she was still four strokes clear of the field after a second-round 75 for 146.
Lily May is in the GB and I team of Under-16s for next weekend's Junior Vagliano Trophy match in Italy against the Continent of Europe .. and so too is the second place Euphemie Rhodes (Burnham and Berrow).
Euphemie has had rounds of 76 and 74 for 150 against the CSS of 77 and 76.
Two others from the GB and I Junior Vagliano Trophy team, Ffion Tynan (Minchinhampton) and Carys Worby (Newport Links), are back on 156 and 157 respectively. Ffion has scored 75-81, Carys 77-80.


There are no Scots in the girls' field of 30 players
