SCOTS GIRLS DOWN AT FAIRHAVEN

Jasmine Mackintosh (Hazlehead) and Louise Duncan (West Kilbride), the only Scottish girls in the big mixed field for the Fairhaven Trophies junior stroke play at Fairhaven Golf Club, Lancashire, had opening rounds of 81 and 88 respectively.

Ana Dawson (Peel) and Hollie Muse (West Lancashire) are the leading girls with two-under-par 73s, a shot ahead of Amelia Williamson (Royal Cromer) and Amy Taylor (Bowburgh).
