INDIA CLYBURN FINISHES T7 ON HAWAII

Former Scottish Under 21 girls open champion India Clyburn from Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, and now a second-year student at North Carolina State University, finished T 7 in a field of 93 players at the Dr Donnis Thompson Invitational college tournament at Kaneohe Kipper Golf Club, Honolulu, Hawaii (March 14-15).
India had rounds of 71, 71 and 72 for a two-under-par total of 214 over a par-72 course of 6,099yd.
She finished seven shots behind the winner by four, Maddie Szeryk (Texas A&M), who had scores of 67, 71 and 69 for nine-under 207.
Runner -up on 211 was Jennifer Kupcho (Wake Forest with scores of 70, 71 and 70.
Texas A&M (859) also won the team title by a resounding 15-stroke margin from Oklahoma State (874) with Washington State (875) third.
North Carolina State (883) finished sixth in the field of 15 teams.
