Heather top Brit at Caledonia Golf and Fish Club

Heather Munro from Monifieth, a third-year student at Elon University, North Carolina, finished the top British player in a field of 80 players at the Golfweek Program Challenge at the quaintly-named Caledonia Golf and Fish Club, Pawley's Island, South Carolina.

Over a par 71 course of 6,042yd, Scotland international Heather, pictured, had rounds of 73, 75 and 77 for 225 and a share of 24th place,15 shots behind the winner by three, Anna Magnusson (Morehead State) 71-67-72 for three-under 210).
Anglo-Scot Paige Kemp (Stetson University) from Essex - her mother is Scottish - shot 84, 78 and 78 for 240 and a T56 finish.
Stetson team-mate Eilidh Watson from Dollar finished 67th on 243 with three rounds of 81.
Olivia Jay (Radford University) from York came 77th on 257 with rounds of 82, 86 and 89.
Boston College (865) pipped Campbell University (866) for the team title.
Stetson (927) finished 11th and Elon (944) 13th.
