Germany calling! Fiona and Rachael are leading 

Scots in European individual championship

Germany-based former Scottish U18 girls champion Fiona Liddell is the best placed Scot after two rounds of the European individual women's amateur championship at Hooks Golf Club, Sweden.
Daughter of a Scots-born club pro in Germany, Fiona has had rounds of 72 and 70 for T18 position on two-under 142 - nine behind the Belgian leader, Diane Baillieux (64-69 for 133).
Another Germany-based Scot, Rachael Taylor had one of the best rounds of the day, a three-under-par 69 for 143 and a share of 26th place.
Aboyne's Shannon McWilliam is sharing 42nd place on 145 after rounds of 74 and 71. She birdied three par-5 holes in her second round.
Jess Meek (Carnoustie), the leading Scot overnight, crashed to a second-round 81 with two double bogeys on an outward 43.She is T116 on 152.
