Duke  women’s team seeded No. 1 in Baton Rouge Regional

DUKE UNIVERSITY NEWS RELEASE
DURHAM, North Carolina: The fifth-ranked Duke University women’s golf team received its 24th consecutive bid to participate in NCAA Regional action Monday as the Blue Devils were seeded No. 1 in the Baton Rouge Regional and will next travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana  from May 5-7 to play for an invitation to the NCAA Championship.  The regional will be played at the University Club Course.
Other teams competing in the region are Florida, Arizona State, Washington, Oregon, South Carolina, East Carolina, North Carolina State, Houston, Brigham Young, August, Louisiana State, New Mexico, Denver, Harvard, North Florida, Wichita State and Fairleigh Dickinson.
The regional will be a three-day, 54-hole tournament with 18 holes played each day.  Duke will open action on Thursday, May 5.
