Essex girl Sophie Madden finishes T21 and
helps Nova SE win team title

Sophie Madden from Essex, a freshman at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, helped her college win the team event at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational college tournament at Tuscawilla Country Club, Winter Springs, Florida.
Sophie, pictured right, had rounds of 78, 74 and 75 for a T21 finish on 227 (the same total as Daisy-May Kenny, from Purley, and a senior year student at West Florida with rounds of 74, 75 and 78.
Nova Southeastern (593) won the team title by a single shot from runners-up Florida Tech with West Florida and Barry tieing for third place on 601. Rollins (604) finished ninth of the 16 teams.
