Karis Davidson finishes T15 at Lake 

Macquarie after early double bogey 6

Teenage Scot Karis Davidson finished T15 in the prestigious Lake Macquarie women's amateur tournament at Belmont Golf Club, New South Wales today.
The Innerleithen-born player, who emigrated with her parents to Queensland eight years ago, had rounds of 76, 73, 75 and 75 over the par-73 course for a total fo seven-over 299.
In her final round Karis saddled herself with a double bogey 6 at the second hole and even though she birdied the long fifth, short 12th and 17th, she couldn't cancel out bogeys at the short fifth, 11th and 15th in halves of 39 and 36.
South Koreans dominated the final placings. They filled all of the top five and seven of the top 10.
Hye-Jin Choi won by three shots with a total of 13-under-par 279 (69-69-76-65).
Runner-up was the recent winner of the Australian women's championship, Min-Ji Park with scores of 68, 71, 74 and 69.
Hyun-Kyung Park was  thrd with 75, 70, 72 and 66 for 283.
Hannah Green, ranked Australia's No 1 female amateur, finished tied seventh on 294 (72-73-79-70).
