Bronte and Olivia in top four with a round to 

go in South America

Bronte Law from Bramhall, Cheshire, has moved up to within one stroke of the lead after 54 holes of the South American women's amateur championship at Lima Golf Club, Peru.

Sofia Garcia (Paraguay), the defending champion, is in the pole position with rounds of 75, 67 and 68 for six-under-par 210.
Bronte, pictured left, is on her tail with 72, 72 and  a scintillating 67 for 211, sharing second place with the Peruvian hope, Lucia Gutierrez (72-69-70).
Helen Holm Trophy winner Olivia Mehaffey (Royal Co Down Ladies) is in fourth place on 212 (73-71-68)
Meghan MacLaren (Wellingborough) followed up her second-round 67 with a 76 (also her first-round score) and a three-over 219 tally sees her go into Sunday's final round in tied 11th place, nine shots behind the leader.
