 Leona Maguire T4, six shots off the pace with 

a round to go in Landfall Tradition

World No 1 female amateur Leona Maguire (Duke University) is lying tied fourth after two rounds of the Landfall Tradition women's college tournament at CC of Landfall, Wilmington, North Carolina.
The  Irish star has had steady rounds of 71 and 72 over the par-72, 6157yd course and her one-under-par 143 tally is six shots behind the leader by four, Isabella DiLisio (Notre Dame (67-70 for 137).
Another GB and I international team member, Alice Hewson (Clemson) from Berkhamsted dropped down to a share of 24th place on 148 with a second-round 77.
Ariana Coyle Diez (Penn State) from Ireland is T36 on 150 with rounds of 74 and 76
Scots Rachael Taylor (North Carolina State) and Heather Munro (Elon University) from Monifieth are T41 on 152. Rachael has had scores of 73 and 79, Heather 72 and 80.
They are a shot ahead of  England's Alison Knowles (Michigan State) from South Yorkshire. Alison has scored 76-77.
Elizabeth Mallett (North Carolina) from Sutton Coldfield has shot 76-79 for 155 and joint 59th place.
Lisa Maguire (Duke), playing as an individual, has had a pair of 79s for 158 and joint 74th position
Former Scottish U21 open champion India Clyburn (North Carolina State) is T78 on 159 (76-83).

Irish champion in 2014, Mary Doyle, pictured left, a freshman at Elon University, has yet to find her feet in the States. She scored 85-83 for 168 and 94th position  in a field of 96 players - well below her capabilities, but she is too good a player not to shine through eventually.
Duke (571) have gone 10 shots clear of the field in the team event. Oklahoma State (581) are in second place with Alabama and Notre Dame hjoint third on 585.
