Gemma Webster misses cut in Casablanca

Three Scots - Gemma Dryburgh (fifth), Jane Turner (sixth) and Heather Stirling (tied 23rd) - made the second-round cut  at the Ladies European Tour School pre-qualifying tournament at Mohammedia Golf Club, Casablanca, Morocco today.
But Glasgow's Gemma Webster missed the cut to the leading 30 and ties. She had a quadruple bogey 9 at the 16th after a double bogey 5 at the short fourth and a 83 (41-42) for a tally of 160 was seven shots too many to survive.
Aberdeen-born Dryburgh, playing out of Beaconsfield Golf Club, had five birdies in a span of seven holes in an outward 32 on her way to a second-round 71 for 146.
West Linton's Turner started with a triple bogey 7 and went four over with a bogey at the fifth but she birdied the ninth, 12th and 15th to salvage a 75 for 147.
Former Scottish champion and past Curtis Cup player Heather Stirling, a professional caddie between tournaments, is in joint 23d position after rounds of 78 and 75 for 153.
France's Marion Duvernay leads the field with 69 and 75 for level par 144.
