Ballybunion and Rockmount set to face off 
for Miele All-Ireland Four-ball Title

The four semi-finalists arrived at Newlands Golf Club early this morning with the Miele All-Ireland Four-ball title in sight. As players and supporters arrived from all four regions they admired the pristine fairways and undulating greens while excitement filled the clubhouse. 
Tomorrow's final will be contested by Rockmount  and Ballybunion.
Region 3’s Ballybunion led from the start with past interprovincial player Mary Sheehy securing a win with partner Maeve Barrett on the 17th.
A healthy 5 and 4 win for Ballybunion’s third pairing sealed the deal. The final match was called in as Enniscrone could do no more. 
It was a tighter affair in the other semi-final between Region 1 Rathfarnham and Region 2 Rockmount. Rathfarnham took a one hole lead through the 6th  and managed to hold this throughout the match before they took the winning point on the 16th with a 4 and 2 victory. 
The Ulster side had the momentum in the second match and finished the match on the 13th hole. The third match needed all 18 holes in order to produce a result as Rockmount ended the day with a 1 hole victory over the Dublin club. The final match was called in

Mary McNamara (16) and Ann Healy (17) halved with Caitriona Corrigan (9) and Bernie Moloney (21) (called in)
