Calum from Kinross finishes joint third on US 

college circuit seasonal debut

Calum Hill from Kinross, a final year student at Western New Mexico University, finished joint third in his first tournament of the new United States college golf season.

The Scot fiished two shots behind the winner, Colin Prater (Colorado Springs University) who had rounds of 75, 69 and 70 for 214.
One of Calum's team-mates, Ross White from Dollar finished 59th in a field of 77 players with scores of 79, 78 and 84 for 241.
A third Scot in the field, Western New Mexico freshman Robbie Kemsley from Glasgow, withdrew after a first-round 77.
Western New Mexico (879) finished runners-up in the team event behind Colorado Springs University (874) in a field of 12 squads.
