This year’s Legends Championship presented by Old National Bank will bring a solid field of veteran LPGA talent to Indiana Aug. 28-30, including six members of the LPGA and World Golf Halls of Fame.
Highlighting that group will be recently honoured Dame Laura Davies from Surrey. She was inducted in July into the World Golf Hall of Fame at St Andrews.
Davies owns 82 professional wins worldwide, including one win on The Legends Tour and 20 LPGA Tour titles.
In her last appearance at the 2013 Legends Championship, Davies finished fourth. The Englishwoman won her Legends Tour debut at the 2013 Legends Tour Open in Innisbrook, Fla. Her tournament start at this year’s Legends Championship will be Davies’ fifth Legends Tour event.
“I am excited to return to French Lick for The Legends Championship,” said the long-hitting Davies. “The Pete Dye Course is very, very, very tough."
