Michele Thomson 4th, Gemma Dryburgh T11 
behind amateur winner in Sweden

Ellon's Michele Thomson (Meldrum House) and Aberdeen-born Gemma Dryburgh (Beaconsfield) finished fourth and tied 11th respectively behind the amateur winner of the weekend's LETAS 54-hole event, the Boras Ladies Open at Boras Golf Club, Sweden.
Olivia Cowan, who plays out of Germany where her Liverpool-born father is a club professional, followed up her appearance of the winning Continent of Europe team against GB and I in the Vagliano Trophy match in Belfast last weekend by scoring for the second time on the No 2 lady pros' tour in Europe.
She shot 68, 69 and 72 for a seven-under-par total of 209, winning by one stroke, despite an inward half of 41 after going to the turn in 31.
Thomson had scores of 73, 69 and 71 (34-37) for three-under 213. for behind Cowan. Michele deviated from par only three times in her final round, birdieing the first and eighth and dropping a shot at the 13th.
Former Curtis Cup player Dryburgh, in only her second tournament since she turned pro had scores of 72, 71 and 76 for three-over 219.
In her final round, Gemma had double bogey 7s at the first and 18th holes. Her only birdie came at the second.
Glasgow's Gemma Webster (Succession Group) missed the cut by four shots with rounds of 76 and 81 for 157.
