Vagliano Trophy venue Malone, Belfast has a Sawgrass type island green

Malone Golf Club in the leafy suburbs of Belfast - venue for the Vagliano Trophy match between GB and I and the Continent of Europe, Friday-Saturday this week - has its own "Sawgrass" typ of island green.

See picture above, taken by GB and I team captain Elaine Farquharson-Black who flew out to Northern Ireland on Monday with Junior Vagliano Trophy team member, Shannon McWilliam from Aboyne Golf Club. She actually lives at Torphins. That's Shannon on the left at the airport.
