Western New Mexico outgunned but Thomas 

Neve makes top 10 at Vallejo

Western New Mexico University's team found themselves outgunned  in the NCAA Division 2 West/South/Central Regional at Hiddenbrooke Golf Club, Vallejo, California.

Thomas Neve, pictured, a junior from Epsom did well to finish T10 on 223 (76-76-71) - six shots behind the players who tied for the title - Patrick Skakel (Colorado Springs) (73-70-74 for 217) and Ray Richards (CSU Monterey Bay) (73-73-71 for 217) over a par-72 course of 6,747yd
Harry Wetton, a sophmore from Bedfordshire, finished T22 on 227 (74-776-77).
Calum Hill, a third-year student from Kinross at Western New Mexico, finished T45 with 78-74-80 for 232
Freshman Ross White from Dollar had scores of 82, 86 and 87 for 255 and 106th place in a field of 108 players.
James Bolton from Bury, a sophomore student at Newman University, Wichita in Kansas, finishe dT24 on 228 with scores of 78, 76 and 75.
CSU Monterey Bay (887) finished well ahead of runners-up Sonoma State (906). Western New Mexico came a disappointing 11th of 20 with a 923 total.
