EDINBURGH INTER-CLUB RESULTS FROM TURNHOUSE

Despite some horrendous weather earlier this week, the Turnhouse course was in excellent condition and all matches commenced on schedule.  
A couple of spring showers early in the evening did not impact the excellent standard of golf being played. 
The most closely contested match under the double foursomes format was that between Musselburgh and Craigmillar Park which went all the way to the last putt on the 18th.   All in all. an excellent start to the tournament. 

FIRST ROUND
Turnhouse bt Merchants 9 and 6 Broomieknowe bt Liberton 10 and 8 Kingsknowe bt Newbattle 14 and 12 Craigmillar Park bt Musselburgh 1 hole.

More excellent golf to watch tomorrow night at Turnhouse. starting from 4pm when Glencorse, the title-holders, will be in action against Ratho Park:
