Michele Thomson only Scot to make the LETAS opener cut in France

Michele Thomson took eight more shots than she did in the first round to be on the level par mark 142 (67-75) at the opening LETAS event of the 2015 season, the Open Generali de Dinard in Northern France today.
The Ellon-born player birdied the long fifth but dropped shots at the first and 10th before running up double bogey 5s at the back-to-back par-3 holes, the 12th and 13th. Thomson also bogeyed the 16th, coming home in 39, compared with 31 on the first day.
Thomson will start the final round in joint 27th place, seven shots behind the leader, England's Eleanor Givens (67-68 for 135).
The other Scots in the field, Jane Turner (West Linton) and Glasgow's Gemma Webster failed to make the cut which fell at 145.
